YOU CAN'T STOP STANTON WHEN HE'S HEALTHY

The Yankees needed a win and leave it to Giancarlo Stanton to save the day.  When this guy is healthy, he's literally unstoppable.  It was such a great walk off that I'm looking to get tickets to today's game now because I wanna see these guys live. The energy is real! It's too good. I mean look at the standings...

I'm not sure how a team can be 43 games back, but the Orioles are and that's crazy to me. Anyway, the Yankees are doing great things. Anyway, here's CBS Sports:

"Giancarlo Stanton led off the 11th inning with an RBI single Friday night and the New York Yankees came back to edge the Baltimore Orioles 4-3.

Stanton also homered as the Yankees remained 1 1/2 games ahead of Boston in the the race for the first AL wild card.

Stanton, who was limited to designated hitter duties during the pandemic-shortened 2020 season and in his first 81 appearances this year, has played the outfield in 15 of his last 31 games, a span in which he is hitting .324 with 10 homers and 27 RBIs."

It's September folks. It's time for another streak... more wins, more energy and zero injuries. I had no faith in this team because of the micro managing of Aaron Boone this year. But this team and Boone have found the formula to win. No... they won't win every game down the stretch, but my gut tells me they will win more than they lose and that's what we need. I'd love them to win the division. That's always the goal... but if not... the wild card is just as glorious for us considering the season this was.

Go Yanks. I hope to see you at the stadium today.
