"Pinch hitting for Tauchman in the eighth, Aaron Hicks homered and the game was tied 4-4.
David Hale relieved Cortes and held the Rays scoreless for two innings as the game went into extras. In the top of the eleventh, Judge led off with his second homer of the game, and was later followed with a three-run shot by Brett Gardner, one of three hits on the game. In the home side of the inning, Hale allowed two singles and yielded to Aroldis Chapman. The results were much preferred to Thursday’s meltdown, as Chappy held on for the save. "
