BRAVES WILLING TO PAY HALF FOR McCANN

I can't believe the Yankees are already looking for ways to deal Brian McCann, but they are.  And it looks as though the Braves will take him, but it's interesting how the Yankees will play this one.

Now, BYB reported on Brian McCann recently, but it's worth talking about again. Read THE BRIAN MCCANN RUMOR THAT JUST WON'T GO AWAY for our first report. Now check out what NJ.com has for you:

"According to a report from FanRag Sports' Jon Heyman, there could be path for the Yankees to send catcher Brian McCann to the Braves. From the report:

The Braves seem willing to pay half McCann's $17-million salary, and send a prospect or two but not significant players ..."

But here's the nugget not reported enough:

"The Yankees reportedly don't want to pay any of McCann's salary and they want at least a good young prospect in return. That might not cut it for New York."

And so, we will see what happens this off season, because there is no question the Yankees will try and move him, but the return will be substantial, if they can pull it off at all!

Anyway, stay tuned.
