“I am not sold on the Twins’ pitching,’’ the scout said. “And the Yankees crush just about every mistake. They do more damage and are more confident. It’s advantage, Yankees,’’reported the Post

It is still unclear who will pitch Game 1 and it is equally unclear how their starting pitching will flesh out with James Paxton glut soreness, Luis Severino just getting warmed up and Masahiro Tanaka's inconsistencies this season. What is clear is the Yankees have stayed in the fight all season and with their position players contributing defensively and the arsenal of bull pen specialists, they have more fight to give.
The Yankees have a few more tweaks to work out before first pitch Friday night. The savages from the Bronx will have their work cut out for them, but not an impossible dream for them. They have to go in there and do what they have done all season long: fight, grind and win.
