Now, Didi is coming back, but CC is one of those cases where his contract's up and it's unclear right now if the Yankees are interested in bringing him back. I personally think this guy is great, he still has it, he reinvented himself, he's clearly a leader and the Yankees need to go year to year with this big lug. I love CC. That being said, there will be plenty of time to talk about that.

"The winter shopping list of Yankees General Manager Brian Cashman grew longer on Friday when the team learned that shortstop Didi Gregorius needed Tommy John surgery on his throwing arm.
Gregorius is expected to miss a large portion of next season. He is believed to have torn a ligament in his right elbow while making a throw home from shallow left field in Game 2 of their American League division series against the Boston Red Sox. "

And so now we wait. The season's over, they recover and we see what happens next. Much speculation can be made that we need a big bat to replace Didi... Manny Machado. And of course that weirdo Jon Heyman is tweeting it feverishly. I can't stand instant speculation like that...

And then you wonder if CC will come back. I'd love to see it. We just need to see what happens this off season.
