SHANE ROBINSON PROMOTED. I KNOW...

You don't even know who I'm talking about. We can hopefully change that.

Latest roster move for the Yankees goes something like this.  Shane Robinson was called up and Jace Peterson was DFA'd. That's designated for assignment for those who just woke up from a coma.

MLB.com has this:

"The Yankees signed outfielder Shane Robinson to a Major League contract, promoted him from Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre, and designated infielder/outfielder Jace Peterson for assignment on Tuesday.

Robinson, 33, appeared in 20 games for the Angels in 2017 and batted .194/.257/.194 with one RBI. He hit .250/.341/.278 with two runs scored and seven RBIs in 22 games in Spring Training with the Yankees.

Peterson, 27, collected three hits in nine at-bats for the Yankees this season. He is a .234/.320/.331 career hitter with 15 homers and 98 RBIs in five seasons at the big league level."

Bingo, bango. There you have it.
