NEIL WALKER'S A NEW YORK YANKEE!

The whole rumor mill with Neil Walker and the Yankees getting together at some point of Walker's career has always been there.  But nothing ever happened... until today.

Jon Heyman tweeted this:

neil walker and yankees are finalizing a deal. will be MLB deal. believed to be about $5M. @JeffPassan 1st

And then Jack Curry of YES tweeted this:

Walker was signed to 1-year, $4M deal and he can earn another 500K in incentives, Cashman said. I believe Jeff Passan had it first.

Nice.  And I love that they both credited Passan.  That's the kind of respect I love when it comes to these guys. I hate it so much more when they are falling all over each other to be "first".
