Friday's Yankee game will be live on YES. That's exciting. And the starter?
Bryan Mitchell.
YESNetwork.com wrote about it today:

"Mitchell is one of five pitchers competing for the final two spots in the Yankees' rotation this year, and the other four candidates will get their first looks in the first week of spring as well; per Girardi, Adam Warren will start the back half of the Yankees and Phillies' home-and-home on Saturday in Clearwater, with Luis Severino going Sunday against the Blue Jays (a game that's also on YES, starting at 1 p.m. Sunday), Chad Green pitching Monday at the Orioles, and Luis Cessa will go against the Red Sox in the road half of the Yankees' split-squad Tuesday."

You know how it works, a lot of guys competing for spots and a lot of turnover with no top guy really playing past the 3 innings in these games. It's Spring and it's a whole lot of fun.
God, I was just thinking back to a few years ago when
David Robertson, Erin and BYB teamed up selling our first set of BYB shirts ever. David and Erin took a picture wearing our gear and we raised about $300 for High Socks for Hope. It's crazy, but whenever I think about Spring Training, I think about the Robertsons. Good people and that helped with their cause and helped put BYB on the map in the process. Ah, memories.
Anyway... exciting stuff with televised Yankee games. Looking forward to it.
