Quick report. The other day the Yankees designated Nick Goody for assignment. We wrote about it in NICK GOODY WAS JUST DFA'D.
Today, he was traded to the Cleveland Indians. Cleveland.com has the story:
"Cleveland obtained Goody, a 25-year-old right-hander, from New York on Tuesday in exchange for a player to be named later or cash considerations."
That's it. Goody's gone and the Yankees move on and so does Nick.
Good luck to Goody in Cleveland. Maybe he'll get more of an opportunity!
Geez, he and his lady are a cute couple, huh?
