It hasn't been a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend for Yankee news, there really isn't anything out there! But I do want to at least offer you this nugget coming from Nick Cafardo of the
Boston Globe involving our pal
Aroldis Chapman. Obviously the Yankees are not the only ones eyeing the closer:

"Aroldis Chapman, LHP, free agent — The Nationals, Yankees,
Giants, and Dodgers are emerging as possible destinations for Chapman.
We’re not completely sure whether the Cubs are out of the picture."
So what does it mean? Not much, except that if Hal Steinbrenner is hell bent on improving not only the starting rotation, but the pen, this is the perfect guy to pick up.

There is no question his work with
Dellin Betances and
Andrew Miller last season was significant. While Miller is no longer in the picture, filling this void with an extra arm will help, but signing Chapman is a must.
I don't know, just kind of wanted to let you know what was going on here. It's my opinion that having Chapman back will prove important.
