SANCHEZ IS A ROOKIE OF THE YEAR FINALIST
Gary Sanchez is a Rookie of the Year finalist. Things are good in Yankeeland, the big question is, can he win it? Well, if anyone saw what we saw this season, I would definitely say yes, but you know how this goes... it's rare that the Yankees ever win anything, and so, we will just have to wait and see. There is no question though, he deserves it.
Many are reporting the story... we'll give this one to Bronx Baseball Daily. They write:
"Major League Baseball announced Sanchez was nominated for the American League Rookie of the Year Award. He is up against Michael Fulmer of the Detroit Tigers and Tyler Naquin of the Cleveland Indians.
Sanchez only played in 53 games with the Yankees, but hit .299/.376/.657 with 20 home runs, 40 RBI and 12 doubles. "
The world will know next week. They will announce on November 15th. Good Luck Sanchez.
