BEATING DAVID ORTIZ MAKES ME HAPPY
It's been documented. I don't care for David Ortiz. Beating him is a good thing. Beating the Red Sox, in their home... well... that's a great night.
Michael Pineda started for New York. I was alittle worried what we were going to get, but things worked out nicely. Pineda went 6.2 innings, gave up 7 hits, but only 1 run. In fact, between him, Justin Wilson, Betances and Miller, it was the only run the Sox would score all night. In fact, the Sox only had 7 hits all night. The Yankee pitching was quite good.
The Yankee hitting. Well... that was pretty nice too.
In the first, Alex Rodriguez homered... a solo shot. In the 4th, Jacoby Ellsbury reached on a fielding error. In the process, Brian McCann scored. Then Brett Gardner singled in a run. After that, ARod walked with the bases loaded. Stephen Drew scored.
In the 8th, Ellsbury singled home a run. Just like that, those were your 5 to the Sox 1. I like that... I like that alot. Here's a funny Meme.
Go Yanks!
Final: Yankees 5 - Red Sox 1
