Quick note. The Yankees have made a deal for yet another left handed pitcher. According to Indians beat writer Paul Hoynes, it's Josh Outman:
Indians trade lefty Josh Outman to Yankees for player to be named or cash. Outman reports to big-league club. Not on 40-man.

Now, What do we know about Outman? Well, here's the scoop from Hardball Talk:"Outman had a 3.28 ERA and 24/16 K/BB ratio over 24 2/3 innings with the Indians this season prior to being designated for assignment in June. After passing through waivers, he was outrighted to Triple-A Columbus, where he had a 4.43 ERA over 23 appearances...He could come in handy in a specialist role for the Bombers."
Clearly the Yanks are preparing for their September run. Stockpiling arms... I like it.
Welcome Josh.
