THE YANKEES JUST SIGNED YAMAICO NAVARRO

A quick note brought to you by Joel Sherman of the New York Post. The Yankees signed another infielder, Yamaico Navarro to a minor league deal.  Check out Sherman's Tweet:
So now there is even more possibilities on the infield front if Derek Jeter suddenly shits the bed in 2014.  Look, I kid, but the reality is, we just signed Brendan Ryan, we traded for Dean Anna, the Dean of Swing, the other day from the Padres and now we have Navarro.  We have personnel. The trick will be who sticks and who goes back down the minors once the season starts.  This is a good tactic by the Yanks, I'm OK with it.

Navarro's last team was the Baltimore Orioles.  Before that he was with the Pirates, the Royals and the Red Sox.  He's been in the bigs since 2010. He can play second base, shortstop and 3rd.

Welcome Yamaico.  Can I call you Yamy?
