I'm not going to sit here and try and tell you that I can do a better job than John Sterling. I can't... there, I said it. I can however, know when a homerun leaves the ballpark. For example, sometimes at the stadium, the batter looks like he had a real shot... but it's usually a pop up in the outfield. The rest of the crowd goes wild... then it floats into the outfielder's glove for an out.
That's live baseball. Enter John Sterling who made a horrendous home run call the other night...or not, of Alex Rodriguez's stroke. I don't think it's horrendous at all... I think it's hilarious.
Give John alittle credit. He said he was sorry for blowing it right there on the spot. Alot of guys would have tried to move on, gloss over it and blame someone else... he didn't. Sterling's OK with me. Enjoy this... I did.
