MOCKING WILL GET YOU EVERYWHERE...

We're Yankee fans.  We stick together.  We are in a losing streak right now, but instead of getting all crazy like I feel like I'm getting... you DO need to laugh alittle.

I posted a piece BIG TRADE RUMORS IN YANKEELAND this morning.  Bottom line, there are tons of rumors swirling about the Yankees needing offensive help, pitching and who knows what else.  There is no doubt we need it now... but when you really think about the Yankees, this losing streak, what really does it all mean in your personal life? Nothing really unless you play for them... honestly.  At the end of the day, it's the Yankees that play the game, we just root... and sometimes, like me, lose perspective on what's really going on.

Bottom line, the Yankees winning and losing shouldn't matter to you in your own life.  That's where Marc Friedman comes in. He's a Yankee fan who follows me on Twitter who got a chuckle out of me writing simply this when I posted the rumors piece this morning:

That was funny to me, hopefully you too. Thanks to Marc, it allowed me to step back for a moment and realize that it's going to be OK.   I wrote PANIC MODE this morning and I was frustrated...we all are when the Yankees lose, but making light of it puts things in perspective.

Hey Yankee fans... let's chill and hope our Yankees figure this out.  I will have some extra thoughts about our Yankees tomorrow morning in a detailed piece about guys like Robinson Cano and Kevin Long and sure, it will be alittle harsh, but for now, we need to sit back and stop getting crazy.  Sure, my piece tomorrow will be geared towards the Yankees losing streak, but as Marc suggests today... we need to laugh alittle right now too.  It's only baseball for crying out loud, not curing cancer.

Thanks for the laugh Marc, and thanks for reading Bleeding Yankee Blue.
