COULD CHIEN-MING WANG BE BACK IN THE FOLD?

That's right, you read that correctly and trust me, this could all be for nothing, but according to George King III, the Yankees are going to send a scout out to watch Chien-Ming Wang pitch in the World Baseball Classic when he pitches for Taiwan.Wang's a free agent and King says:
"Free-agent right-hander Chien-Ming Wang threw off a mound at Billy Connors’ Tampa area home recently and impressed the spring training pitching instructor.

According to Connors, Wang, who will pitch for Taiwan in the upcoming World Baseball Classic, is looking for a major league contract.

GM Brian Cashman said he hasn’t had contact with Wang’s representatives. However, the club will have scouts watching Wang during the WBC, despite having six candidates for five starting spots."
You can read King's full piece HERE.
Now look, people forget that Wang was a 19 game winner for the Yankees, not once, but twice.  I'm not expecting the Yankees to sign him and he'll do it 3 times in his Yankee career, but if he can offer something to our club, I'm all for a reunion. Wang's last stint was with the Nationals.

We'll keep you posted on this story, it's interesting to say the least.
