Quick note. The Yankees have released Heath Bell. We had written recently that the Yankees signed Heath Bell to a minor league deal. Read, WELL, RING MY BELL.
Well, according to Bryan Hoch of MLB.com, the experiment in the minor leagues with Bell wasn't very successful.
The Yankees took a look at RHP Heath Bell at AAA, where he had a 7.50 ERA in 5 appearances. He was released today.
