AJ BURNETT
There's no way to sugarcoat it, AJ Burnett was once again terrible. We thought he was going to have a bounce season compared to his nightmare 2010. Although he did pitch very well against the Red Sox on Sunday, he's chances of starting, let alone being on the postseason roster, are still in doubt. Remember, last season he was left off the ALDS roster and he started Game 4 of last year's ALCS because the Yankees didn't have a better option to be their fourth starter. I expect him to be off the roster completely, but we will see.- Projected: 16 wins, 4.12 ERA, 204 innings, 165 K's
- 2011: 11 wins, 5.16 ERA, 190 innings, 173 K's
Here are some other pieces we wrote about AJ Burnett this year. Click and read, enjoy yourself.
