THE BIZARRE WORLD OF DOMINGO GERMAN & THE YANKEE SCRAMBLE

Why say you're done with baseball is you're not? It's nuts to me.  Domingo German will probably need to clarify with his employer and right now, reading articles around the Yankee universe... no one knows what's going on and that's disturbing too.

NJ.com writes this:

"Yankees manager Aaron Boone had no updates on Domingo German’s status late Friday night.

'I know he’s in the states visiting his child right now,' Boone said after an Intrasquad game at Yankee Stadium. 'Beyond that, I don’t really know much. I just heard something like that but I don’t really have much to say about the situation.'

Catcher Gary Sanchez, a close friend of German’s, said he hadn’t spoken to the pitcher in a while and hadn’t heard about German’s Instagram post hinting at retiring from baseball until after he came out of the intrasquad game."

In other words... the Yankees and their own manager are left in the dark on this. By the way, how can you be a "close friend" and not know anything?

Look... do we need to guy? I'd say he could be helpful once his suspension is over.  But do we really really need him? No. We will manage. But damn... what is the real story here? The Yankees need to get to the bottom of it and fast.
