USE OF "ASTROS" FOR LITTLE LEAGUE TEAMS NOW BANNED IN CERTAIN ORGANIZATIONS
Reputation is everything, and when you lose respect from fans, from honest people, their view on you changes. That's what happened when the Astros players were caught cheating, and with that, their character and their integrity went out the window. Now they cannot be trusted and will always be known as liars and cheaters no matter what. Their reputation is tarnished. As Ben Franklin once said...
"Glass, China, and Reputation, are easily cracked, and never well mended."
Preach Ben, Preach.
Now comes news that two California Little League teams will ban the use of the word "Astros" for their youth teams. Why? Because they don't want their kids to be associated with cheating and the despicable Astros. It's real, folks... and this scandal and the Astros players are doomed.
ESPN writes:
"It's not good to be a member of the Houston Astros these days. In fact, for two Little Leagues based in California, nobody will be a member of the Astros.
The Long Beach Little League and the East Fullerton Little League have both banned the use of "Astros" from their teams this year after the major league team was found to have illegally stolen signs en route to winning the 2017 World Series over the Los Angeles Dodgers.
'Parents are disgusted,' Long Beach Little League president Steve Klaus told the Orange County Register. 'They are disgusted with the Astros and their lack of ownership and accountability. We know there's more to this scandal. What's coming tomorrow? With the Astros, you've got premeditated cheating.'"
I'm not gonna lie. I was going to wait until tomorrow to post this story. But it's too damn good. In fact... it's amazing.
Hey Astros? Was it worth it? Was it really worth it?
Losers!
