Hey, I have no problem with the way things transpired last night. Bad calls at the plate are ridiculous. It takes the bat out of a player's hand if umpires make bad calls there. Forever, starting in Little League you are trained to swing at good pitches. Then what? You make it to the major league level and they call them like shit? Not right.
Last night Gardy and Boone both lost their mind. I think Gardner looked like a fool in the dugout with his bat antics... seen here... but I totally get it.
And Boone did the right thing. He was protecting his guys. Letting Blue know exactly how ridiculous he was last night. Sure, it gets him ejected, but sometimes you just need to go nuts on these guys almost as a way to say, "You're on notice. You suck!""Brett, your thoughts on today's strike zone & home plate umpire?"— A.J. Herrmann (@AJHerrmannYES) July 18, 2019

Final last night?
Yankees 5, Ray 1. And here's the standings...
Go Yanks!
