Just wanted to update you all on a former Yankee that is continuing his major league career. Adam Warren just signed a deal with the Padres.
Hardball Talk has the story:
"The Padres inked veteran right-handed reliever Adam Warren to a one-year, $2 million contract, the team announced Friday. The deal comes with a $2.5 million club option (and $500,000 buyout) for the 2020 season."
And that's really it. Good for Warren. I always liked him. Not a complainer, a doer and a solid teammate.
