NOTHING AARON JUDGE CAN'T DO, HUH?

Rookie of the Year award? Yup... Aaron Judge won that.

The New York Post writes:

"Judge, not surprisingly, has won the 2017 American League Rookie of the Year award by unanimous decree. All 30 Baseball Writers Association of America voters placed the Yankees right fielder first on their ballot, making him the ninth such AL rookie to do so and 22nd overall. Among the star names in that group of unanimous recipients is Derek Jeter, the last Yankee to capture this award (in 1996).

The sweetest plum remains for Judge: On Thursday, he’ll learn whether he can add the AL Most Valuable Player trophy to his resume."

Now, I'd love to see Judge get MVP too, but I have a hunch it's going to Altuve, because that kid's great, plus he won the World Series and while that shouldn't factor in, I feel like it's unspoken and does.

Who knows for sure. I've also heard that it ISN'T a factor at all because voting is done before the playoffs.  Whatever... who knows.

I'm just thrilled Judge got AL ROY.

Congrats kid.
