I'm sure, most of you remember or have seen the many replays of that time Jose Canseco had the baseball bounce off his head and over the wall for a home run.
At the time, it led to laughter and made him the butt of many jokes for years. There probably should have been more concern though. You see, just recently Jose took to Twitter claiming that he could hit a softball further than Aaron Judge could hit a baseball.
Aaron judge in batting practice hitting a ball off of the bottom of the Jumbotron so what I the the top of it with a line drive big whoop— Jose Canseco (@JoseCanseco) August 11, 2017
I can easily hit the top of that Jumbotron with a softball— Jose Canseco (@JoseCanseco) August 11, 2017
I bet I can hit a softball further than Aaron judge can hit a baseball— Jose Canseco (@JoseCanseco) August 11, 2017
Judging by his Twitter, Jose Canseco believes he's still a better slugger than Aaron Judge.
Canseco took shots at the Yankees outfielder on Twitter Thursday night, claiming that even at the age of 53 he still has more power than Judge. At least in terms of hitting a softball.
And that takes me back to that baseball bouncing off of Canseco's head. Maybe it shook a wire loose. Maybe this guy needs to be quiet, let a new generation do great things. This is a guy just trying to stay relevant in my opinion. It's pretty much a non-story... yet it sounds like it would be something fun to watch.
I wonder if during the off season Canseco and Judge would get together and have alittle home in derby. Money could go to charity... we'd get a few laughs out of it... you know... stuff like that.
Nah. Probably not.
