RYAN HOWARD GETS A MINOR LEAGUE DEAL

I was wondering when Ryan Howard would get signed.  It took a while, but now the dude has a home. 

It's being reported all over, but we'll go with FOX Sports on this one...

"The Atlanta Braves’ front office waited two games before making an eye-opening splash that could upgrade its bench, signing former Philadelphia Phillies slugger Ryan Howard to a minor-league deal. Howard will first report to extended spring training next week before joining the organization’s Triple-A affiliate in Gwinnett."

Now who knows what we will see from Howard. I mean, the guy still has pop and can still hit. I'm not sure he'll be moving around too much in the field, and clearly the Braves didn't sign him for fielding, they signed him for his bat. 

Let's see what happens.
