SURPRISE! SURPRISE! SURPRISE!

Chris Carter is a New York Yankee.

USA Today has the story:

"Chris Carter, who hit 41 home runs in 2016, finally found a home Tuesday when he agreed to a one-year, $3.5 million contract with the New York Yankees, a baseball official directly involved with the negotiations told USA TODAY Sports.

The official was not authorized to discuss it publicly because the deal still is pending a physical."

Over the next day or so, you will get in-depth reaction and opinion about this deal.  Most importantly though, we'll discuss how it affects the Yankee kids, such as the returning Greg Bird and Wonderboy Tyler Austin both first basemen. That's the biggest concern we here at BYB have about this.
