The Indians just beat the Blue Jays 3-0. The game was unbelievable because for me, an American League, bleeding blue Yankee fan, to see the Blue Jays heart of the order choke in the 9th was amazing. After a double from Jose Bautista in the 9th, both Donaldson and Edwin struck out. After that, Tulo popped up on the foul side of first base, and just like that, the Indians are going to the World Series.
I normally don't criticize Terry Francona, but when he pulled out Andrew Miller and chose Cody Allen the pitch the 9th, I have to say, it freaked me out. No matter, that was the best I've seen Allen pitch. He looked awesome.
Also, shout out to the kid, Ryan Merritt on a brilliant start for the Indians. Click on his name to see the stats.
And Congrats to Miller, the American League Championship Series MVP. Well deserved!
And so now we wait... who will the Indians play in the World Series. Will it be the Cubs or the Dodgers?
Stay tuned...
Final: Indians 3 - Blue Jays 0
