Hey, great news for Bryan Mitchell... he's back!
CBSSports.com writes:
"Mitchell (toe) was optioned to Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre on Wednesday after completing his rehab assignment...The 25-year-old had been on a rehab assignment since early August as he worked his way back from a toe injury that had sidelined him since the end of spring training."
This kid was about to be placed on the Major League roster this season when he got that toe injury. Bummer. Whatever the case, he's on his way again, and we wish him well.
