THE TANAKA FACT & RUMORS CHECKLIST

Tanaka Mania is silly now.  I keep checking and all I keep seeing is nuggets galore.  None of which are worth a whole post... yet, here I am writing about it because all of Yankeeland is losing sleep over the fact that Tanaka is here in the U.S. and the Yankees need to sign this guy.

We've heard that the Dodgers are ALL IN, only to hear that that's not exactly true. That comes from Bob Nighengale of USA Today. Check it out:

We've also heard that Tanaka's perferred cities are Boston, New York and Los Angeles. That comes from John Shea at the San Francisco Chronicle. Read below:

We also know this about Masahiro Tanaka:

• Tanaka has met with the Chicago White Sox, read HERE.
• The Texas Rangers are monitoring Tanaka pretty closely according to reports, read HERE.
• Tanaka's wife is the lovely Mai Satoda.

•  Tanaka's nickname is Mā-kun because the Eagles manager Katsuya Nomura calls Tanaka as "Mā-kun" in interviews.
• It's also rumored that Tanaka loves to watch Will Sasso Vines of this Sasso Lemon compilation. 

OK, I made the last one up, but that's the reality of this Tanaka craziness... there are lots of rumors and facts flying and you really need to weed through it all.

We here at BYB will try and bring you fair and honest info on Tanaka.  But you have to admit... it's nuts right now... it really is.
