DJ MITCHELL SIGNED WITH THE METS

That's right.  That DJ Mitchell.  I just wrote about Mitchell a few weeks ago when he was designated for assignment by the Seattle Mariners. Read MARINERS DESIGNATE DJ MITCHELL FOR ASSIGNMENT. 

So, good for him. He latched on to another New York team since he was first shipped off to Seattle last year for Ichiro Suzuki.  Mitchell's deal is a minor league deal with the Mets and hopefully he'll make it up to the bigs this year.
