FREDDY GARCIA OUT AND RYOTA IGARASHI IN

A quick update for all you Yankee fans right at game time for the Subway Series.  Freddy Garcia has been placed on the bereavement list and remember Ryota Igarashi? He was called up to fill the hole.  Read about it HERE.
Freddy Garcia's grandfather passed away and he needed to make his way to Venezuela.  Luckily the Yankees have been slowly stockpiling arms in the minor leagues and the recent acquistion of Igarashi has proven valuable.  This is a good opportunity for the Yankees to see what Igarashi has on the major league stage again.  He's also a former New York Met so I suspect Joe Girardi will try to get him in at some point.

I was unable to find out when Garcia will be back, but for now, we're covered.
