LYNN PICKS UP A BROKEN DOWN YANKEE TEAM!

Gotta hand it to Lance Lynn. He is just what the doctor ordered after an insane Yankee weekend of loss and aggravation.  Losing 4 straight to the Red Sox is not something that you can come back from so quickly. It was nice to see that the newbie did some damage and helped pick the Yankees up.

ESPN writes:

"Before you can start healing, you've got to stop the bleeding. The New York Yankees did just that Monday night thanks to a human bandage named Lance Lynn. The Yankees limped into Chicago on Monday after a massacre of a weekend in Boston. Four games against their ancient rival. Four losses, punctuated by Sunday night's collapse in a game that stretched to nearly five hours. New York's deficit in the American League East had ballooned to 9 ½ games behind the Red Sox, and the Yankees' odds of winning the division dwindled accordingly.

Their overall losing streak was at a season-high five games...though he debuted last week for the Yankees with 4 ⅓ scoreless innings of relief. Now you can tack 7 ⅓ more zeroes onto Lynn's New York tab after he shut down the White Sox on two hits."

Allittle dramatic with the human bandage stuff, but you get the point. The Yankees were down and they needed a pick me up. Lynn offered that. Maybe we can start to turn it around.

Let's not forget something.  The Yanks are way behind in the division... but they're not out. Anyone who is writing the Yankees off would be fools just because that's not what true fans do.  Get it together.
