It's not the worst move in the world, and yes, you read that correctly.

Adam Lind is a New York Yankee.

Newsday, along with many other publications have the story:

"The Yankees have signed Adam Lind to a minor-league contract, the team announced Friday...The veteran first baseman/outfielder slashed .303/.362/.513 with 14 home runs, 59 RBIs and 39 runs in 116 games last season with the Nationals. In 12 seasons in the majors, Lind, 34, has slashed .272/.330/.465 with 200 home runs, 723 RBIs and 588 runs."

Will we see Lind at some point? I bet we will... and look, sprinkling in a few veterans with the youngsters has always been my thing.  And so, I accept this deal.

Let's see what happens next!
