I didn't see this one coming... did you? First Gerrit Cole goes to the Astros, now Andrew McCutchen heads to the San Francisco Giants.  Nice snag by SF! writes:

"The Giants' aggressive offseason objective of bolstering a power-starved lineup took another significant step on Monday, as the club has acquired longtime Pirates outfielder Andrew McCutchen, along with cash considerations.

Pittsburgh received two of the Giants' Top 30 prospects, according to MLB Pipeline -- outfielder Bryan Reynolds (No. 4) and right-hander Kyle Crick (No. 16) -- and $500,000 in international bonus pool space."

And there you have it.  Pittsburgh fans might be angry about this one.  I've always heard that McCutchen was Pittsburgh fans first and no doubt this one will sting those fans similarly to the way Miami fans are disappointed that Giancarlo Stanton is gone from Miami.

That's it! McCutchen is a Giant. Wow!
