We're winning folks.  The New York Yankees are actually winning and playing as a team!  It's kind of incredible. 5 wins in a row. You really can't beat that. Let's hope the this streak continues...

The CC Sabathia resurgence has been incredible to watch, and it's a wonderful story if he can keep it up. 7 innings pitched, he allowed just 5 hits and no runs.  He struck out 4 and the most glaring stat for me was he didn't give up a home run.  Remember when that used to happen? Not anymore.

The Yanks scored 4 runs, 3 in the first and 1 in the 3rd.  In the first inning, Brian McCann walked with the bases loaded off Mike Pelfrey. Then, Didi Gregorius doubled knocking in 2.

In the 3rd, it was a single from Carlos Beltran that knocked in Brett Gardner.

Yankee relief kept the Tigers blanked, and just like that, Yanks win 5 in a row.

I'm happy... I know you are too.  We're doing great things!

Go Yanks!

Final: Yankees 4 - Tigers 0
