When CC is on, he's on and tonight, he was on.  Guess what? The Tigers found a way to claw back... and that's was a heartbreak, no doubt.

CC fought hard. That's the kind of guy he is.  He only gave up 2 runs and was the only pitcher tonight.  In fact, this will be a short recap because the reality was, the Yankees had 1 run all game and it was only until the 7th, when the Tigers scored 2 on 2 singles that you kind of realized that the offense needed to step it up against Simon and company.

There was even an opportunity when the Yankees were hitting against Joba Chamberlain and he was able to get them to hit into a double play.   Jacoby Ellsbury had a shot, but it didn't work out.  Meh.

The only run came off of Mark Teixeira's bat tonight for the Yanks.  He hit a solo shot for his 4th homer of the season.  Someone get O'Hara on the blower... Tex is doing big things.

Yanks lose. CC doesn't deserve that tonight.  He pitched well.

Final: Tigers 2 - Yankees 1
