As many know by now, Stephen Drew has been named the Yankees starting second baseman.  MassLive reports:

"Yankees manager Joe Girardi named Drew the starting second baseman on Tuesday.  'We signed (Stephen Drew) to be out second baseman,' Girardi told Yankees reporters in Tampa. 'We didn't sign him to struggle. We signed him to play at a very high level, and we expect that he will.'"

With Rob Refsnyder and Jose Pirela waiting in the wings... the big question from many Yankee fans is why?

Trust me, while the headline above is charged, this is a straight news story. But I will tell you that we have 2 Bleeding Yankee Blue writers writing up a commentary and harsh opinion as we speak. This topic has many fighting mad. I respect that...

Look for them soon.

Trust me, you will not be disappointed.
