"Pineda will make his spring training debut on Monday. He will start that game against Tampa Bay, with Nathan Eovaldi pitching behind him out of the bullpen. Not unusual this early in spring training to see a couple of starters in the same game."
Nice nugget from Chad Jennings and he's right... you gotta give some of these starters work, and so, with CC Sabathia not yet ready, and Masahiro Tanaka chomping at the bit, read HERE, but not slated officially, it's guys like Chris Capuano, Pineda, Eovaldi and so on. It's Spring... it's what you do.
