Why we are looking at Mike Pelfrey as a potential starter for the 2014 New York Yankees, I don't know. A 5-13 record in 2013 is like Phil Hughes material. I mean, if we wanted that, we should have kept Hughes. Anyway, according to Jon Heyman of CBSSports.com, we are in fact "checking in" on Pelfrey:
